Bonsai In Bloom   Look what's in bloom in the Bonsai Gallery!

In October 2009, Bonsai Master Jim Smith donated 100 of his finest trees to Heathcote Botanical Gardens, on the condition that they would be displayed, secured, and maintained properly.  Master Smith envisioned a garden where visitors could stroll and discover a bonsai at every turn.  In May 2011, at the Grand Opening of the James J. Smith Bonsai Gallery, Master Smith declared that what was built for his collection exceeded all his expectations.
