Guided Tours

You can experience Heathcote by use of our self-guided tour map, which you will receive at admissions, or you can make arrangements for a guided group tour by scheduling at least two weeks in advance of your visit.

Tours are conducted Tuesday-Saturday throughout the year. There must be at least 8 people in a group for a guided group tour to be scheduled.

Cost for guided, group tour is $7.00/adults; Cost for children 6-12 is $2.00.

School Tours/Children’s Educational Programs

Heathcote’s Children’s Garden, under the guidance of Nannette Billings meets Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:15 to 5pm. 

Heathcote offers guided tours with programs for school groups of all ages and grade levels. Our tours introduce children to botanical gardens and the wonderful world of plants. For teen-aged school groups, a trip to the garden can not only introduce them to the science of botany and horticulture, but also the many different career fields associated

with this type of educational facility or an area of interest for them to pursue. The level of interpretation is adapted to the specific age level.
