Fort Pierce is approximately 125 miles (2.5 hours by car) north of Miami, 120 miles (2 hours by car) southeast of Orlando and 150 miles (3 hours by car) east of Tampa/St Petersburg. Fort Pierce is easily accessible from both Interstate 95 and the Florida Turnpike.

From Interstate 95: Take Exit #129, State Road 70/Okeechobee Road/Fort Pierce Exit and go east on Okeechobee Road. When road forks, bear right onto Virginia Avenue and continue east to US 1. (It is approximately 4 miles from the exit to US 1.)

At the US 1 intersection, turn right (south) onto US 1. Pass Gardenia Avenue, which is the next stoplight. Proceed one more block to Savannah Road (no stoplight). There is a cut in the median.  Turn left (east) onto Savannah Road; go two blocks. The Garden is on the left.  

From the Florida Turnpike: Take Exit #152, the Fort Pierce Exit, and go east on Okeechobee Road. When road forks, bear right onto Virginia Avenue and continue east to US 1. (It is approximately 4.5 miles from the exit to US 1.) At the US 1 intersection, turn right (south) onto US 1. Pass Gardenia Avenue, which is the next stoplight. Proceed one more block to Savannah Road (no stoplight). There is a cut in the median.  Turn left (east) onto Savannah Road; go two blocks. The Garden is on the left.  

From downtown Fort Pierce you can go one of two ways: The more scenic route is to go south approximately 3 miles on Indian River Drive. Turn right (west) on Savannah Road. Go approximately 2 miles. The Garden parking lot is on the right. OR, go south on US 1 from downtown/Orange Avenue area approximately 2.5 miles through the Virginia Avenue intersection. Pass Gardenia Avenue, which is the next stoplight. Proceed one more block to Savannah Road (no stoplight). There is a cut in the median.. Turn left (east) onto Savannah Road; go two blocks. The Garden is on the left.

From Port St. Lucie: Go north on US 1, passing Prima Vista Boulevard, Midway Road, Edwards Road and the railroad tracks. From Edwards Road go another mile on US 1 and look on your right for Savannah Road. Turn right (east) onto Savannah Road; go two blocks. The Garden is on the left.

From Jensen Beach: The more scenic route is to go north on Indian River Drive/Route 707 which you can get on at the west side of the Jensen Beach Causeway and the roundabout. Go approximately 3 miles passing the Midway Road intersection. From Midway Road intersection go another 3 miles to Savannah Road. Turn left (west) onto Savannah Road. Go another 2 miles. The Garden is on the right. OR, head north on US 1 and follow directions given above for Port St. Lucie.

From Vero Beach: Take US 1 south from Vero. Fort Pierce is approximately 12 miles south of Vero Beach. Pass the intersection at Seaway Drive, which is the causeway to the south beach barrier island. Proceed south on US 1 another 4-5 blocks and you will see the Fort Pierce City Hall on your left between Avenue A and Orange Avenue. Continue south through the Virginia Avenue intersection. Pass Gardenia Avenue, which is the next stoplight. Proceed one more block to Savannah Road (no stoplight). There is a cut in the median. Turn left (east) onto Savannah Road; go two blocks. The Garden is on the left.
