Garden of Lights 2021
Plan on visiting Heathcote Botanical Gardens for our family-friendly holiday tradition,
Garden of Lights begins Thanksgiving weekend and running through the end of the year.

Bonsai Collection Tour: First Tuesday of each month, 10:00 a.m.

Tour the James J. Smith Bonsai Collection,
meet the curator and hear the history of the collection.

Bonsai Clinic with the Bonsai Curator:
Last Wednesday of each month,
4:00 pm – 5:00 pm

Sharpen your skills and learn how to care for your Bonsai.
$1 Advance registration necessary: Members $10, $15 for non-members. 

A Walk in the Garden
Thursdays at 11:00 am

Curator/Head Gardener Miriam Charles or docent share highlights of the plant galleries of Heathcote.
Garden Admission (free to members). *November–May.

Science Fridays:
First Friday of the month 10:00 am – 10:30 am

Learn about USDA’s research and what citizen scientists are doing to combat
the Asian Citrus Greening destroying Florida’s treasured citrus industry.
Program free for members, and included in admission for non-members.

Conversational Spanish: a cultural immersion
Fridays, 9:00 am – 10:00 am

Beginners welcome.

Pilates In the Gardens with Barbara Lengen:
Wednesdays at 3:30 pm.

6-week program with limited spots: $50 for members, $60 non-members.

Play in the dirt and help maintain the Gardens for all to enjoy.
