Garden Festival Schedule of Events

Join us at Heathcote this weekend for the
30th Annual Garden Festival

This year’s Garden-Fest includes a variety of plant and flower vendors, garden supplies, garden arts & crafts, children’s activities, refreshments, demonstrations and more.

Visitors will gain insights of conservation efforts and take away ideas that can be put to work in their home gardens.

  • All sessions will take place in the Pioneer House unless noted.

The 30th Annual Fall Garden Fest (yes, thirty years!) will be held on November 18th & 19th!

Join us for our very popular annual garden festival and plant sale where you’ll find an exceptional selection of plants, flowers, herbs, garden tools, supplies and much more.

FREE admission  Saturday 9:00 am – 4:00 pm, Sunday 10:00 am – 4:00 pm

This year’s festival Vendors will include: Tropiflora, LLC. and Odom’s Orchids, Inc. as well as Akamia Accents, Atizana Inspired, D & D Growers, D.R. Bates Liners & Gallons, Doctor Kirchner-Natural Weed Killer, The Garden Market, J & P Nursery, Johns Jungle, Liquid Gold Natural Honey Products, Orchids in Bloom, Our Vital Earth, Inc., Peter’s Croton  & Cordylines Nursery, Soil mates Garden Expressions andTreasure Coast Bee Keepers.

Our Non-profit partners include:  St Lucie County Master Gardeners, Treasure Coast African Violet Society, Treasure Coast Junior Master Gardeners, Treasure Coast WoodTurners Guild, and University Of Florida Biological Control Research & Containment Laboratory.
Kid’s Activities and lots of food. Come and join in the fun!

Our Annual “FUN & FUNKY” Tag Sale

Vintage finds and closet cast-offs will reign during this event with proceeds benefiting children’s programs.

Join the fun, socialize with our CoHorts and look for a bargain you can’t resist!

DONTATE YOUR GENTLY USED ITEMS…

Beginning on April 3rd, between the hours of 9:00am – 4:00pm, Monday – Friday through May 10th, we will be accepting your donations of gently used items for our yard sale on the grounds at Heathcote.* Please – No electronics, bed linens or clothes. Only garden related books will be accepted.

Our Annual Spring Garden Sale Heathcote propagated plants and more will be available for purchase.

National Public Gardens Day and Our 30th Anniversary

The American Public Gardens Association has designated May 6, 2016, as National Public Gardens Day and we are celebrating our 30th anniversary!

Join us for fun on Friday and Saturday, May 6 and 7, 9 AM – 5 PM
FREE ADMISSION both days.
• Take a piece of Heathcote home with you! Plants from our propagation house for sale from 9 AM to 2 PM, both days.
Fun and Funky Garage Sale, from 9 AM to 2 PM, both days.
Elementary Science Showcase, Saturday, May 7, 10 AM – noon.

28th Annual Fall Festival

Join us at Heathcote for our 28th annual Fall Festival. This year our admission fee will be waived.  “Everything Gardening” features exceptional plants, crafts, kids’ activities, and lots of food.

Saturday, 11/21, from 9 AM to 4 PM
Sunday, 11/22, from 10 AM to 4 PM

A special note to Heathcote members: join us between 9 AM and 1 PM on Saturday for a reception and plant giveaway!

Spring Garden Sale

On Saturday April 11 and Sunday April 12 we held our annual Spring Garden Sale where plants, flowers, supplies, garden tools, art work and much more were available for purchase.  And on Saturday morning there was a  plant giveaway to all members.  Lots of fun for the entire family!
