Holiday Concert

We are happy to present a Holiday Concert on December 14, 2014 4 PM – 7 PM.  Admission is $10.00 per person, $18.00 per couple. Children under 12 FREE.  Entertainment by the students of the Petrova Jones Music Studio.

27th Annual Fall Garden Festival

 Saturday, November 22nd – 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM – Sunday, November 23rd – 10:00 AM – 4:00PM

Admission – $6.00 or $3.00 and 3 cans of food for donation to the Salvation Army.

Members & Children under 12 free.

Exceptional selection of Plants, Flowers, Herbs, Garden Tools and Supplies, Fun & Funky Garage Sale- FRI- 11/21-9AM – NOON, Art Work and much, much more…. Members Only Reception in the Pavilion- Saturday, 9am – 1pm, Free plants for members!

 Kid’s Activities and lots of food. Come and join in the fun!

Consider donating your items to Heathcote Botanical Gardens for our Fun’ N Funky Sale.

 Donations can be dropped off Monday thru Friday between 9am & 4pm beginning on November 4th.

Please deliver to Heathcote thru the back gate located off of Heathcote Drive. Books related to gardening, crafts or cooking only.

2014 Landscape Awards

The FNGLA Landscape Awards Program was established in 1970 to recognize landscape excellence in Florida and after 44 years, this prestigious event is still going strong! FNGLA’s Landscape Division is pleased to honor the top projects submitted for their excellence in landscape.

On September 24, 2014 at the Landscape Show, Sam Comer was awarded the “Award of Excellence” as the Landscape Contractor and Landscape designer of the “James J. Smith Bonsai Gallery at Heathcote Botanical Gardens.”

Dog Days of Summer Event


Back in February of this year, one of Heathcote’s volunteers showed up in my office with this scruffy looking dog and stated that he needed to go home with me.  I readily agreed and fell in love with him right away.  He is mellow and affectionate in his own way and gets along great with my two cats. His name is Jersey. I adopted him from the Humane Society here in Fort Pierce and they couldn’t have been nicer.  They have a lot of animals looking for homes and Heathcote had decided to help them.
